PhotoLab is a place for everyone to explore, play and investigate across the lower ground floor.

In the Family Learning Space you will find self-led creative activities inspired by photography, and in the History Gallery you will find objects such as lenses, mirrors, lights and even a darkroom installation to explore with all your senses.

Not just for children, PhotoLab challenges adults and young people with camera phones to use the lightbox to photograph something special that later gets displayed on RWA digital screens.

Any visitors can discover something about the history of photography, artists who use photography today and how we tell stories with the photos we take.
