This is a digital class. Step-by-step instructions and a short video will be sent out to all participants on 18 August. 

Learn the fundamentals of pastel drawing, looking at the stunning patterns of a moth and replicating it using pastels and your fingers. After drawing the moth, look at other similar patterned creatures and continue to observe closely and work on your blending and texture.

The workshop takes the format of a pdf worksheet with step-by-step instructions and a short video of the artist making the drawing so that you can see how it looks throughout the whole process. You will be sent a materials list the week before the workshop.

The instructions pdf and video will be sent to ticket holders by We Transfer (email) on the day of the workshop. This workshop has been created by Abigail Reed, an artist known for her beautiful observational and expressive drawings of animals and the natural world.
