Blending the boundary between object and human, Hybrids Live brings to life the exhibits and creates living sculptures that will journey in and around the RWA, questioning, how do we access the art?

Inspired by the ways RWA and visitors can make the gallery more accessible, this performance will challenge preconceptions about how to interact with a gallery and shine a light on the everyday performances you wouldn't usually see.

Free with an exhibition ticket to the current RWA exhibition These Mad Hybrids: John Hoyland and Contemporary Sculpture, this performance is for all visitors on Bank Holiday Monday. Many Minds have been thinking about what makes us a 'mad hybrid' and how we could interact with artworks and the gallery. The performance will be approximately an hour long, leaving you plenty of time to explore the exhibition at your own pace before or afterwards.

Many Minds is a Bristol-based mental health charity that facilitate creative spaces and make performance that puts people who identify with experiences of mental ill-health in the driver's seat as a way to break down stigma and trigger generosity and equality.
