A Zoom Poetry Workshop led by Leeza Awojobi

In this hour-long workshop, Leeza will guide and facilitate individuals wanting to creatively express their lockdown experience in the form of some creative writing or poetry.

We welcome anyone (students, young adults, adults, older people, emerging poets or those new to creative writing) to this workshop via Zoom, taking inspiration from our recent lived experience. Leeza Awojobi is a poet, performer and teacher who will guide you throughout.

The experience of lockdown will be used as a starting point for this writing workshop - looking at how poetic techniques shapes tone and imagery to create impactful poetry in response to our recent and current situation.

Leeza is a calm, creative and conscientious poet and storyteller based in Bristol who uses her poetry to delve deep into fundamental human nature. She is interested in what makes humans tick, especially in how our world views affect the way we creatively think and interact with our culture.

When you have booked, the Zoom link, meeting ID and password will be sent to you. You can contact us here to find out more about using Zoom if you are not already familiar with the platform. You need to download the Zoom app on your device.
