Tuesdays, 2pm - 5pm | 5 weeks

Starts Tuesday 22 May 2018

Drawing from a model and various live animals - including dogs and birds of prey, as well as masks and costumes - explore how artists represent this very ancient relationship between man and beast. Participants will be introduced to a range of techniques for drawing from life. Each session will take inspiration from art history, crossing continents and millennia. Due to drawing from live animals in some sessions, please expect an exciting, unpredictable experience - part of the challenge will be learning techniques for capturing movement!

All basic materials provided for this course (heavier weight papers available at cost price).
