Monday 15 July to Thursday 18 July, 10.30am - 4.30pm
A four day workshop for those with little or no experience of working in oils. Learn to visually describe the fall of light over simple solid forms, first in monochrome and then in colour. Get to grips with colour mixing and learn how to translate three dimensions into two. Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, develop an excellent grounding for further exploration in oils.
All basic materials provided for this workshop, although we recommend bringing your own brushes if you have them. Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio. You may also wish to consider bring a plastic bag in which to take wet work home with you on the last day.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of the start of the course or workshop you will not be eligible to receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer to another course/workshop unless we can find someone to take your place on your original booking. If we cancel a course or workshop for whatever reason then you will be offered a different date, course or a full refund. Discounts are to be applied when first purchasing your class and cannot be given retrospectively.
