Saturday 18 May, 10.30am - 4.30pm and Sunday 19 May 11am-4pm
Drawing, collage and working directly into constructions/sculptures using a variety of materials from wire, card, paper, paint, ink and found objects. Students will understand the relationship between the space and the object and how Picasso’s paintings jump into three dimensions alongside these assemblages. Most materials will be supplied and you can bring your own found objects to the class on the second day to use in your sculpture.
All basic materials provided for this course (heavier weight papers available at cost price). Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio. You may also wish to consider bring a plastic bag in which to take wet work home with you.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of the start of the course or workshop you will not be eligible to receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer to another course/workshop unless we can find someone to take your place on your original booking. If we cancel a course or workshop for whatever reason then you will be offered a different date, course or a full refund. Discounts are to be applied when first purchasing your class and cannot be given retrospectively.
