NEW! Multi Block Colour Print
3 Jul 2020
Tutor - Rosanna Morris
Fridays, 10am - 3pm | 3 weeks
Starts Friday 3 July 2020
This course will teach you how to bring your ideas to life through the medium of multi block linocut prints. You will learn how to design, transfer and carve your image from traditional battleship lino; you will then experiment with techniques for registering your multi blocks and finally creating a small edition of prints. You will take inspiration from the great linocut printmaking revolution which took place at the Grosvenor School of Modern Art in the 1930's, from the bold colour prints of Claude Flight to Ethel Spowers. No previous printmaking experience needed
