Join artist Ros Ford VPRWA, RE and researcher Dr Wendy Rhodes in conversation about how Ford’s work has evolved over the past decade.
They will examine the importance of travel - exciting residencies to Venice and Naples have been pivotal in inspiring her recent work and adding spontaneity to her drawing.
Ford’s etching methods will be placed in the context of her influences and contemporary landscape printmaking.
The conversation will touch on ideas explored in discussions between them during the research and writing of Rhodes' PhD thesis ‘Drawing and Etching Place’.
Ford regularly exhibits in the RA Summer Exhibition. Her prints and paintings are exhibited and held in public and private collections in the UK and Internationally.
