What makes a 'good' drawing? This experimental mark-making session aims to build children's confidence and dispel the 'I can't draw' myth!

We will start with some fun drawing warm ups (tried and tested methods that students don't usually learn until art school!). We will explore rhythm - drawing to music - and space and composition using Sandra Blow's abstract works as inspiration. We will finish up the session making large-scale, expressive paintings.

Suitable for ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. With prior agreement from the tutor, adults may leave the workshops as long as they stay on RWA premises. Accompanying adult will receive complimentary exhibition entry.

Price includes materials.
