Enjoy Monet, Manet, Renoir and many more works of art at the unique Barber Institute of Fine Arts. a part of Birmingham University.
Spend the afternoon exploring the spectacular Winterbourne Botanic Gardens. Set in seven acres , and only five minutes walk from The Barber Institute, its design was inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement of the Edwardian period. The garden contains plants from the far corners of the globe. It is Grade 11 listed and offers colour and interest throughout the year.
Visit Winterbourne House , with its Coach House Gallery , and enjoy a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea on the wisteria framed terrace of this quintessential English Edwardian house, a rare survivor of a high status villa of that time.
There will be 3 pick-up points: 8.15am Triangle West near the multi storey car park; 8.30am Parry’s Lane slip road; 9am the Mall at Cribbs Causeway- from the coach park H near Marks and Spencer.
Arrival at the Barber Institute at approximately 10.30-11.00.am. On our return journey , we would expect to be back in Bristol at the same stops at between 6.30pm and 7pm. The price of £27 50 includes the drivers gratuity.
Entrance to the Barber Institute is free of charge . There is an entrance charge to Winterbourne House and Gardens of £6 per adult or £5 for over 65 and students.
