A visit to Taunton to see an exhibition of works by the 20th century artist Doris Hatt (1890–1969), a Somerset pioneer of British modernism, who exhibited her vibrant paintings of South West landscapes, portraiture and still lifes over almost five decades.
On the way, we shall visit the Atkinson Gallery in Street to view their Summer Exhibition and to look at the unique sculpture collection within 100 acres of parkland featuring large scale permanent works from artists such as Marcus Vergette, Glynn Williams and Peter Randall-Page.
