This workshop is programmed for young people (14-18s) to coincide with the RWA exhibitions: Open Sculpture and Gaudier-Brzeska: Disputing the Earth.

Renowned sculptor, John Maine will demonstrate and then guide your use of hand tools to carve stone samples and then begin work on a soapstone carving that you can continue at home in your own time.

Experiment - try things out - gain physical creative skills - have a bash!
