Saturday 4th April 2020 1:30 - 4:30pm

FREE! Drop-in Painting Workshop for Adults - Part of Lifelong Learning Festival

This workshop is inspired by the contemporary photography in the spring exhibition, 'Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: Inspirational Journeys'.

Take some time out for yourself and enjoy this artist-led workshop to explore 'travel', whether real or imaginary. You don't need to have any painting experience, just come and be creative in a safe and nurturing space.

The artist and curator Day Bowman will be running this session. Day’s recent international touring exhibition entitled 'Tearing Up The Rule Book' gives some indication as to where she stands on relaxing and playing with paint, collage materials and more. Come and explore your creative side at this drop in session. Stay for as long or as little as you like.

You might like to make a day of it, visit the exhibitions and the cafe or the shop.

Please note: exhibition entry is charged separately. Book online for
Wilhelmina Barns-Graham and the Artists of St Ives and save £1 on admission.

The Learning Festival team are currently putting the finishing touches to the programme and hope there is something for everyone. The programme of activities will be launching in early February, so be sure to follow them on Twitter (@bristollearning) for further information.
