Drawing can be described as 'the expression of an impulse; the record of a flow of energy'. With that focus in mind, experiment with mark-making tools and materials in a supportive atmosphere. Short exercises and useful drawing processes will help sharpen an ability to see and respond, before moving onto longer projects as the day progresses. Suitable for all abilities.
All basic materials provided for this workshop (heavier weight papers available at cost price), although we recommend bringing your own brushes if you have them. Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio. You may wish to bring a plastic bag in which to take wet work home.
