Taking place at Bristol Zoo, this class provides a fantastic opportunity to draw from nature - from insects and animals to birds, plants and trees - and learn basic principles for capturing bodies in motion. Included in the day is a two hour session in the education department, drawing directly from the zoo's rarely-seen specimen collection, sketching animal skins, biofacts and stuffed animals. (Please note all biofacts and stuffed animals in the collection died of natural causes).
Please bring a sketchbook and preferred drawing implements with you.
As part of the workshop occurs outside, please wear clothing suitable for the weather and comfortable footwear.
Participants will need to meet the tutor at the entrance to the Zoo at 10.30am, so the group can enter together
