Be inspired by the exhibition Sawdust and Sequins: The Art of the Circus and take your writing in amazing new directions.
Led by writer and artist Nick Moore, Image Writes explores the relationship between creative writing and the visual image.
The course is comprised of three friendly and informal sessions. Whether you want to write poetry, a short story, the beginning of a novel, a play or a film script, these sessions are open to all kinds of writers and approaches.
Each session includes set exercises, time in the gallery, quiet writing in the study room, and time to share and critique work together. There will be a different emphasis on each day, allowing participants to develop and extend their work.
Beginners are welcome, as well as those with more writing experience.
?Excellent experience that met with expectations/requirements; plentiful opportunities to write creatively and to re-visit the exhibition for inspiration? - ?JW?, previous Image Writes participant at RWA
