Relief Sculpture is an ancient form of image-making. This two-day workshop explores the process and techniques of modelling in relief with clay. Working from a life model, participants will draw directly into the clay adding and subtracting the material to create form, which emerges from the background to create a striking sculptural scene.
All basic materials, clay and tools provided for this workshop although we recommend bringing your own tools if you have them. Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio. You may wish to bring a plastic bag in which to take wet work home.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of the start of the course or workshop you will not be eligible to receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer to another course/workshop unless we can find someone to take your place on your original booking. If we cancel a course or workshop for whatever reason then you will be offered a different date, course or a full refund.
