Erasure - a process of drawing with 'light' from a dark background - is an effective way of adding tone and depth to your work. In this new workshop, examine erasure techniques and their historic use when creating spectacular tonal drawings. Participants will undertake their own experiments and exercises to unlock this technique’s potential, with the aim of improving observation and mark-making skills, before finally creating a multilayered landscape drawing.
All basic materials provided for this workshop (heavier weight papers available at cost price).
