Learn how to depict autumn and winter fruits, seedheads and other botanical treasures in line, tone and watercolour. Subjects covered include: accurate botanical drawing; understanding colour mixing and matching; watercolour techniques used for botanical art; exploring form and colour; and depicting texture and detail on a range of botanical subjects. Suitable for anyone fascinated by the beauty and up close detail of nature. Watercolour experience an advantage but not essential.
All basic materials provided for this course (heavier weight papers available at cost price), although we recommend bringing your own 'pointed round' watercolour brushes if you have them. Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of the start of the course or workshop you will not be eligible to receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer to another course/workshop unless we can find someone to take your place on your original booking. If we cancel a course or workshop for whatever reason then you will be offered a different date, course or a full refund.
